On August 25, Petrified Forest hosted groups of citizen scientists led by subject matter experts to tally all the various living things they could encounter during a 24-hour period, much like the park did in 2014 and 2016.
This was our biggest event so far with 118 people making 959 observations of 281 species from all over the park. Amazing!
